[12-26-2023] San Francisco County, CA – Five People Hospitalized Following Hit-And-Run Crash on McAllister Street

Five people were hospitalized following a hit-and-run collision in San Francisco on Tuesday night, December 26, 2023.

According to the San Francisco Police Department, the collision occurred at about 6:00 p.m. at McAllister Street and Larkin Street.

A vehicle was pursued after authorities observed that it was wanted for a hit-and-run. Three people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after the wanted driver hit an uninvolved car.

Following a police pursuit, the car struck a pedestrian who was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect was transported and treated for non-life-threatening injuries as well.

An arrest warrant had been issued for the suspect for possession of an illegal firearm. The charges are still pending.

Investigations into the collision are still ongoing, and no further details have been released.
