[01-01-2024] San Francisco County, CA – One Person Killed, Two Seriously Injured Following Rollover Crash Along Highway 1

One person was killed and two were seriously injured following a rollover crash in San Francisco on Monday evening, January 1, 2024.

According to the San Francisco Police Department and the San Francisco Fire Department, the fatal collision happened on Highway 1 along Junipero Serra Boulevard and Palmetto Avenue at around 8:26 p.m.

Upon arrival, authorities reported that a single vehicle had overturned and found one victim lying on the ground, as well as two others suffering from life-threatening injuries. Officers provided aid to the victims and called paramedics to provide lifesaving measures.

The person lying on the ground was pronounced dead on the scene. The two other victims were transported to the hospital.

The authorities have not released further information about the cause of the fatal collision.
