[12-03-2020] Alameda County, CA – Multi-Vehicle Crash in Oakland Kills One Person

An unidentified man was killed after a multi-vehicle traffic collision in Oakland on Thursday afternoon, December 3. 

The collision took place at the intersection of Fairfax and Monticello avenues in Oakland at around 2:56 p.m.  Two vehicles collided on the roadway for unclear reasons.

One of the cars involved then slammed into several parked cars before hitting a power pole and flipping over. The exact number of vehicles involved in the crash is currently unknown.

Emergency personnel had to extricate one man from the wreckage. The man was later pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear whether other people were injured from the accident.
