[03-22-2021] Fresno County, CA – One Killed, Two Injured After a Major Head-On Collision at Academy and Adams Avenues

A 24-year-old man identified as Cesar Figueroa Z. was killed after a deadly head-on collision at Academy and Adams Avenues on Monday morning, March 22.

The major collision took place shortly after midnight at the intersection of Academy and Adams avenue, just outside of Parlier.

A Honda reportedly veered into the opposite lane for unclear reasons. The Honda then collided head-on with an oncoming Toyota.

The Honda driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Toyota was listed in critical condition while his female passenger sustained serious injuries. The Toyota driver was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.

Local authorities are currently investigating the case.
