A construction worker was killed after being struck by a pickup truck on the westbound 91 Freeway near Beach Boulevard in Buena Park early Friday morning, March 21, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred just before 4:00 a.m. when the worker, who was not a Caltrans employee, was in one of the lanes and was hit by an oncoming pickup truck.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
