[05-07-2025] San Luis Obispo County, CA – Two People Injured in Head-On Collision on Highway 58 Near O’Donovan Road in Creston

Two people were injured following a head-on collision on Highway 58 near O’Donovan Road in Creston, San Luis Obispo County, on Wednesday morning, May 7, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly before 7:00 a.m. when a brown Dodge Ram pulling a trailer collided head-on with a black Prius. Authorities reported that one person sustained minor injuries while another suffered major injuries.

Due to foggy conditions, a request for an air ambulance was canceled, and the person with major injuries was transported to a hospital by ground ambulance.

The crash caused traffic delays in both directions. The incident remains under investigation.
