[06-13-2025] Los Angeles County, CA โ€“ Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck on 605 Freeway Near Telegraph Road in Santa Fe Springs

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle while walking on the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway in Santa Fe Springs on Friday evening, June 13, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded at approximately 8:56 p.m. to the southbound side of the 605 Freeway near the Telegraph Road off-ramp.

Authorities located a white Honda sedan near the center divider and found the victim lying near the HOV lane. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The victimโ€™s identity, including name, age, and gender, has not yet been released.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation.
