[07-14-2025] San Bernardino County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Two Vehicles on 5th Street in Highland

A 25-year-old man was killed after being struck by two vehicles in Highland on Monday night, July 14, 2025.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of 5th Street and Church Avenue.

Deputies and medical personnel responded to the scene and found the pedestrian, identified as Courtney Lewis of Victorville, unresponsive in the westbound lanes of 5th Street, east of Church Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities confirmed that Lewis had been struck by two separate vehicles. Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
