[08-28-2025] Riverside County, CA โ€“ Pedestrian Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash at Palm Springs Walmart on E Ramon Road

A pedestrian sustained moderate injuries in a multi-vehicle collision at a Walmart parking lot in Palm Springs on Thursday morning, August 28, 2025.

According to the Palm Springs Fire Department, the crash occurred at approximately 11:40 a.m. on the 5600 block of E Ramon Road.

Witnesses reported that a driver backing out of a parking spot struck two vehicles, jumped a curb over a cart, sideswiped two additional vehicles, and then hit a parked car, which in turn struck the pedestrian.

Capt. Ronnie Skyberg confirmed that the pedestrian was transported to a local trauma center for treatment. Authorities have not released the identity of the pedestrian or the driver.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
