[09-01-2025] Santa Barbara County, CA โ€“ Driver Hospitalized After Two-Car Crash Near Calzada and Roblar Avenues in Santa Ynez Valley

A sedan driver was hospitalized with moderate injuries after a collision with an SUV in the Santa Ynez Valley in Santa Barbara County, on Monday morning, September 1, 2025.

According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the crash occurred around 7:00 a.m.ย  near Calzada Avenue and Roblar Avenue.

The collision involved a sedan and an SUV, each occupied by a male driver. Both drivers were able to exit their vehicles after the impact.

County Fire Capt. Scott Safechuck reported that the sedan driver was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment, while the SUV driver declined medical attention.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. Authorities have not released further details.
