[09-04-2025] San Bernardino County, CA โ€“ Cyclist Killed in Vehicle Collision Near Joshua Lane and Pueblo Trail in Yucca Valley

A 64-year-old man was killed after being struck by a car while riding a bicycle near Joshua Lane and Pueblo Trail in Yucca Valley, San Bernardino County, on Thursday afternoon, September 4, 2025.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriffโ€™s Department, deputies responded around 12:50 p.m. to a vehicle-versus-bicycle collision.

The cyclist, identified as Leon D. of Yucca Valley, suffered major injuries at the scene and was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead Thursday evening.

No arrests have been made, and deputies continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision. Authorities have not released further details.
