[09-14-2025] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Women Critically Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash with Pedestrians in Downtown LA

Two women were critically injured and five others sustained injuries during a multi-vehicle collision involving pedestrians and a vehicle fire in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday morning, September 14, 2025.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, emergency crews were dispatched around 2:57 a.m. to 1524 S. Grand Avenue. Firefighters extinguished a vehicle fire while other personnel focused on treating and transporting the injured.

The critically injured women were 24 and 21 years old. A 49-year-old man was seriously injured, while three women aged 59, 29, and 24 were reported in fair condition. Another individual was also injured, bringing the total number of hospitalized victims to seven.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the collision.
