A motorcyclist was killed after a vehicle pulled in front of him in Granite Bay, Placer County, on Sunday afternoon, September 21, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 4:10 p.m. at the intersection of Auburn Folsom and Joe Rodgers roads.
A preliminary investigation found that the motorcyclist, traveling on Auburn Folsom Road, collided with a vehicle entering from Joe Rodgers Road.
The rider, approximately 70 years old, died in the collision. CHP stated that DUI does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
