Two drivers were seriously injured in a head-on collision between a Toyota Tacoma and a Dodge Dart at Shaw Avenue and Floyd Avenue in western Fresno County on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, both drivers sustained major injuries and had to be extricated using the jaws of life by North Central Fire personnel.
CHP reported that alcohol and drugs were not factors, though distracted driving may have contributed. Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
