A motorcyclist was killed after being thrown from his motorcycle and run over on southbound Interstate 805 just north of El Cajon Boulevard in El Cajon on Thursday around midnight, October 2, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the rider was ejected into the traffic lanes, where multiple vehicles struck the motorcycle and the rider. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity and age of the victim have not been released.
CHP stated that a toxicology report from the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office is pending. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
