[02-03-2026] Orange County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle in Westminster

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Westminster on Tuesday evening, February 3, 2026.

According to Westminster police, officers were called to the incident at about 6:50 p.m. on Springdale Street just south of Westminster Boulevard.

The victim was identified by the Orange County Coroner’s Office as 66-year-old Bobby C., who was described as transient. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Police stated that the driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Authorities said the driver was not suspected of being impaired at the time of the incident.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
