[08-29-2025] San Mateo County, CA – Bicyclist Dies After Collision with Pickup Truck at Four Corners in Woodside

A bicyclist died on Saturday after a collision with a pickup truck in Woodside, San Mateo County, on Friday afternoon, August 29, 2025.

According to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office, officers were dispatched at around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 35 and Highway 84, known as “Four Corners.”

Emergency responders from the Sheriff’s Office, Cal Fire, American Medical Response, and Life Flight arrived at the scene and provided medical aid to the injured bicyclist.

The cyclist was airlifted to Stanford Medical Center in critical condition, where they later succumbed to their injuries on Saturday.

Authorities stated that the driver of the pickup truck is cooperating with investigators.

The incident is being investigated by the San Mateo County Major Accident Investigation Team.
