[07-22-2026] Orange County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Vehicle in Placentia

A 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed after a collision with another vehicle on Imperial Highway in Placentia on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

According to the Placentia Police Department, the crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Imperial Highway.

The motorcyclist, a Yorba Linda man, was traveling westbound when he collided with a vehicle making a left turn from eastbound Imperial Highway into a shopping center.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by Placentia fire officials. His identity has not been released.

The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Authorities reported that drugs and alcohol are not suspected to have contributed to the collision.

The Placentia Police Department continues to investigate the crash.
