[10-11-2026] Santa Barbara County, CA – Five Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash in Santa Maria Valley

Five people sustained injuries in a three-vehicle collision in the Santa Maria Valley in Santa Barbara County on Sunday afternoon, October 11, 2026.

Emergency personnel from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department and Santa Maria Fire Department responded at around 1:40 p.m. to the area of West Betteravia and Mahoney roads, west of the city limits.

The crash involved three sedans and left five people injured, including three adults and two infants. Authorities said the patients sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Three American Medical Response ambulances were dispatched to the scene. All five patients were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for evaluation and treatment.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
