[03-31-2022] Orange County, CA – One Man Killed in Fatal Traffic Collision in Yorba Linda

A man was killed in a fiery crash on the Riverside (91) Freeway in Yorba Linda early Thursday, March 31.

The fatal crash occurred just before 12:50 a.m. on the freeway just east of Coal Canyon Trail.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the victim was driving westbound on the freeway in a 2010 Volvo when he collided with a disabled vehicle on the right shoulder.

According to the CHP, the driver veered back into traffic and was hit by a big rig driven by Erik P.

According to the CHP, the truck driver was unharmed, but the Volvo’s driver died when the car caught fire.
