One unidentified person was killed after a deadly two-vehicle crash in Bakersfield on Thursday afternoon, April 7, 2022.
The fatal collision happened on Highway 43 and Pond Road near Wasco at approximately 3:45 p.m.
A Toyota Crolla and a silver Ford Expedition were involved in the collision. One person was trapped inside the Corolla following the crash.
Both vehicles ended up in a ditch and sustained major front-end damage. Unfortunately, one person was killed in the mishap.
Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the accident.
