[05-03-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – 29-Year-Old Man Killed, Three Others Injured in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Sierra Highway

The identities of the injured parties following the deadly multi-vehicle crash in Sierra Highway last May 3, 2022 has been revealed.

[UPDATE] [05-03-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - 29-Year-Old Man Killed, Three Others Injured in Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Sierra HighwayThe Toyota 4-Runner driver was identified as 62-year-old Clifton V. from Rosamond. He suffered from moderate injuries and broke his left big toe.

Meanwhile, the Honda Pilot driver was identified as 28-year-old Vanessa A. Both the Honda Pilot driver and her 39-year-old female passenger sustained moderate injuries in the mishap.

Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the crash. The accident is still currently under further investigation.

According to California Highway Patrol officers, a three-car collision on Sierra Highway killed an Inglewood man and injured three Rosamond residents Tuesday night, May 3, 2022.

The fatal crash occurred just after 8:00 p.m., south of Avenue B.

A 2017 Nissan Sentra traveling north on Sierra Highway attempted to pass a 2008 Honda Pilot in an unsafe manner.

On Sierra Highway, the Nissan collided head-on with a 2001 Toyota 4-Runner traveling south.

As a result, the Nissan spun out of control and overturned on the road’s east shoulder.

According to CHP officials, the driver, a 29-year-old Inglewood man, was not wearing a seat belt and was killed.

The Los Angeles County Coroner has yet to release the man’s name, pending notification of his family.

In the collision, the Toyota overturned and collided with the Honda.

According to CHP officials, the 62-year-old Toyota driver Clifton V. of Rosamond suffered a broken toe.

According to the CHP report, the Honda driver, Vanessa A., 28, of Rosamond, complained of abdominal pain, while her passenger, a 39-year-old woman from Rosamond, complained of neck, chest, and lower back pain.

There is no evidence that alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision at this time.

The fatal crash remains under investigation.
