[05-25-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - 87-Year-Old Man Dead in Fatal Two-Vehicle Collision in PalmdaleAn unidentified man was killed in a two-vehicle collision that blocked traffic on Pearblossom Highway Wednesday morning, May 25, 2022.

According to the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station deputies, the fatal crash occurred at 11:15 a.m., at the intersection of Pearblossom Highway and Cheseboro Road, south of Avenue T.

According to deputies, the 87-year-old man, who was driving a silver Saturn sedan, made a left turn from northbound Cheseboro Road onto Pearblossom Highway.

According to deputies, he turned in front of a Dodge Ram pickup truck towing a trailer traveling east on Pearblossom Highway and was struck.

At the scene, the sedan driver was pronounced dead. According to the Los Angeles County Coroner, his identity has not been released pending notification of his next of kin.

The crash is still under active investigation.
