[06-02-2022] Riverside County, CA - Hit-and-Run Crash in Moreno Valley Severely Injures One MotorcyclistThe California Highway Patrol said a motorcyclist was badly injured in a hit-and-run crash in Moreno Valley early Thursday morning, June 2, 2022.

According to the CHP, the crash occurred around 12:20 a.m. on the eastbound 60 Freeway, west of Nason Street.

Authorities said the victim was riding a Suzuki motorcycle when it was struck from behind by a black sedan traveling at a high rate of speed, causing the motorcyclist to be ejected.

According to the CHP, the sedan then fled on the 60 Freeway, heading east at high speeds, with fresh damage to its front end.

According to officials, the motorcyclist was taken to Riverside University Health Systems Hospital with serious injuries.

The CHP further reported that a witness who stopped at the scene to assist the motorcyclist captured the crash on his car’s dashboard camera and handed it over to the investigating officers.
