[05-25-2022] Alameda County, CA – Pedestrian Injured After Getting Hit by Amtrak Train in Oakland

An unidentified pedestrian was hurt after getting hit by an Amtrak train in Oakland on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the accident happened near the Coliseum Way.

The pedestrian was allegedly trespassing in the area when he was suddenly struck by a passing Amtrak train.

The incident forced the Coast Starlight 14 train to come to a halt. At this time, the pedestrian’s condition and identity have not been disclosed. The officials have not offered any new information.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
