[06-03-2022] Fresno County, CA – One Person Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Fulton Street

One person was sent to the hospital after a two-car crash in central Fresno on Friday, June 3, 2022.

The crash occurred around 1:00 p.m. in the area of Fulton Street and Belmont Avenue.

According to investigators, the driver was driving east on Belmont Avenue and was struck by a driver driving south on Fulton Street.

One of the vehicles caught fire, but firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the flames.

The woman who was inside the burning car was taken to the hospital. Her injuries are unknown at this time.

The other driver, according to police, was unharmed.

Officers are attempting to determine who is to blame for the crash.

Both drivers were given a breath test to see if they were under the influence of alcohol.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
