[06-07-2022] San Bernardino County, CA - Older Woman Killed, Several Others Hurt Following a Two-Vehicle Crash in BarstowOne unidentified 76-year-old woman was killed while several others were injured after a fatal two-vehicle crash in Barstow on Tuesday night, June 7, 2022.

The deadly traffic collision transpired at approximately 11:02 p.m. on Interstate 15, south of East Main Street in Barstow.

A 2003 Toyota Tundra and a 2002 Ente Entegra motorhome were involved in the collision. The Toyota reportedly drove into the path of the Ente, which caused the two vehicles to collide.

Due to the severity of the impact, both vehicles ended up on an ascending dirt embankment before coming to a rest against a concrete storage facility building.

Several people were trapped inside the wreckage and had to be extricated by emergency personnel. A 76-year-od woman inside the Entre was rushed to Barstow Community Hospital. Unfortunately, she later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead.

A 23-year-old man inside the Entre was sent to Loma Linda University Medical Center with significant injuries, while the remaining passengers were taken to BCH with minor injuries.

The Toyota’s driver and passenger were sent to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton with serious injuries.

Drugs and alcohol were not considered factors in the accident. Local authorities are further investigating the case.
