[06-07-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person is Injured After Two-Vehicle Crash Because of Shooting on 101 Freeway

According to the authorities, one person was injured after a motorist fired shots that struck another vehicle on the southbound Hollywood (101) Freeway in the Studio City area Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the shooting that caused the crash occurred at about 5:00 a.m. near Lankershim Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the victim exited the freeway before dialing 9-1-1 for help. The victim did not sustain any gunshot wounds but did sustain minor injuries from shattered glass debris.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting have not been revealed.

An older model dark-colored sedan was described as the suspect vehicle. The suspect was only identified as a man.
