Fatal Car Accident Lawyers

The number of traffic collisions in the United States has risen steadily over the last few decades. In 2018, 33,654 people lost their lives due to motor vehicle collisions. A total of 36,560 persons were killed or injured due to traffic accidents.

Congested routes in the state lead to many fatal car accidents. High-speed driving and truck accidents claim the lives of many Californians each year.

An OTS survey found that 57% of Californians felt that driving 10 miles per hour over the speed limit on state highways is acceptable. According to a survey, nearly 40% of drivers felt they were unlikely to face a fine for driving ten miles over the speed limit.

San Bernardino County saw a 6% increase in traffic fatalities and injuries in 2019 and a 35% increase since 2010 in the number of people injured or killed in car accidents.

As with drunk driving, it’s imperative that distracted driving be avoided for everyone’s safety. According to accident victims, distracted drivers must be held responsible for their actions. Because it is more difficult to prosecute a distracted driver than a drunk driver, distracted drivers are not always criminally charged.
