[06-12-2022] San Diego County, CA - Two-Vehicle Collision Near Friars Road Results in One DeathOne unidentified person was killed after a deadly two-vehicle traffic crash in Mission Valley on Sunday night, June 12, 2022.

The accident transpired at approximately 10:16 p.m. on Highway 163 near Friars Road in Mission Valley.

A black BMW and a Toyota Camry were involved in the collision. The circumstances leading up to the crash have not been established.

Due to the severity of the impact, the BMW veered off the roadway and rolled down an embankment before overturning and crashing into a storage facility. The vehicle then caught fire.

Unfortunately, the BMW driver was killed in the crash. It’s unclear whether other people were injured in the mishap. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed.

An active investigation of the case is currently underway.

Deadly Two-Vehicle Crash Statistics
