[06-15-2022] San Bernardino County, CA - Teenage Boy Killed in Fatal Motorcycle Crash in PhelanA teen boy died in a dirt bike accident in Phelan on Wednesday afternoon, June 15, 2022.

According to preliminary information, the fatal crash occurred at 1:27 p.m. on Sunnyslope Road and Sahara Road, east of Sheep Creek Road.

According to reports, a dirt bike rider was hit by an SUV driver.

According to the SUV driver, he was driving down a dirt road when a dirt bike came around the corner, causing both vehicles to collide.

According to the driver, the 14 to 15-year-old male dirt bike rider was also unconscious but had a pulse.

The responding officers pronounced the rider dead at the scene.

Once the deceased’s next of kin has been notified, the deceased’s identity will be disclosed.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
