[06-23-2022] Fresno County, CA – Two People Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash on Ashlan Avenue

According to the Fresno Police Department, two people were injured in a hit-and-run crash in Fresno on Thursday, June 23.

Officers responded around 2:30 p.m. at Ashlan Avenue and Fresno Street, close to the Highway 41 on-ramp.

Local authorities claimed that the male driver who they think caused the collision fled the scene.

According to investigators, the other involved vehicle caught fire after the occupants were removed.

According to authorities, two people were taken to the hospital with minor wounds.

Police claim that they were unable to locate the male suspect who had escaped.

The crash remains under investigation.
