An 11-year-old girl identified as Christina Bird died following an ATV hit-and-run accident in Apple Valley on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
The crash occurred at 8:50 in the morning on Stoddard Wells Road.
Bird was admitted to the Loma Linda Children’s Hospital in critical condition but was eventually declared dead on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. She sustained multiple broken bones and a severed spinal cord.
The California Highway Patrol describes the criminal’s vehicle as a 2021 RZR Turbo or Turbo S4 with a bright orange color.
