[07-29-2022] Los Angeles County - Officer Injured after a Hit-and-Run Collision on 110 FreewayOn Thursday evening, an LAPD motorcycle officer was injured in a hit-and-run collision on the 110 Freeway.

The collision happened around 8:05 p.m. on the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway in South Los Angeles.

According to the local authorities, the officer was knocked off his motorcycle and may have hit the center divider of the Glen Anderson (105) Freeway.

LAPD Officer Cruz confirms that the officer’s condition is stable and that the accident was a hit-and-run.

Meanwhile, another person was hurt and taken to the hospital in an unknown, immediate condition.

Deputy Serna of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a white 2014 or 2015 BMW Convertible.

While authorities investigated the collision, and traffic had been diverted onto the Glenn Anderson Freeway, all southbound lanes of the Harbor Freeway in the vicinity of the crash were closed for an undetermined amount of time.

The CHP is handling the current investigation.
