The California Highway Patrol reports that a 77-year-old man died in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 99 Friday night, July 15, 2022.
The crash occurred at around 7:30 p.m. on Highway 99 north of Avenue 264.
After colliding with a Nissan and losing control of his truck, an Inglewood motorist tragically lost his life in the accident.
After being knocked over by the collision, the truck crashed into the concrete wall in the middle of the intersection.
According to the investigators, the elderly man, who was 77 at the time of the accident, was not wearing his seatbelt.
The person who was driving the Nissan was not hurt in the collision.
The investigation into what caused the crash is continuing.
