[08-03-2022] San Bernardino County, CA - Vehicle Crash Results in the Death of a Pedestrian on Foothill Boulevard An unidentified pedestrian died after being hit by a vehicle crash on Foothill Boulevard in the early morning of August 3.

The accident happened around 5:35 a.m. on Foothill Boulevard, west of Sultana Avenue.

Unfortunately, after being taken to a nearby hospital, the pedestrian passed away as a result of the collision.

The white pickup truck was involved in the accident. The vehicle was traveling west on Foothill when it struck the pedestrian, who was walking eastbound in the Foothill two-way left turn lane.

The pickup’s driver immediately fled the scene without stopping.

Officers were successful in locating the suspect vehicle, which took them to a Rialto address.
At this house, authorities discovered the suspect’s car and identified him as Coreyraye S.

Police said that after a search warrant was written, they discovered evidence that Smith was the car’s driver.
A felony hit-and-run charge led to Smith’s arrest.
