[09-03-2022] Riverside County, CA – Deadly Single-Vehicle Crash Leads to One Death and One Injured in Calimesa

According to authorities, Sergio Quintero, 22, of Yucaipa, has been named as the person who was declared dead following a single-vehicle collision in Calimesa, announced on Saturday, September 3, 2022.

Around 3:30 a.m., deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a serious traffic accident near Singleton Road and Bryant Street.

According to an initial investigation, Quintero and a passenger’s car left the road and rolled over an embankment. They took the passenger to a nearby hospital after sustaining minor injuries.

Investigations into the accident’s cause are ongoing.
