Doreen Benyamin

Trial Attorney

Doreen Benyamin, Esq., is an Associate Attorney at Arash Law. Her work is centered on personal injury law, where she assists victims and families with a balance of legal precision, cultural fluency, and emotional intelligence.

Ms. Benyamin earned her Juris Doctor from Columbia Law School, where she was selected for Columbia’s most competitive program, the Columbia Law School Mediation Clinic. Through this opportunity, she received advanced training in alternative dispute resolution and mediated disputes in New York City civil courts and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). She also served as a teaching assistant for Columbia Law School’s Negotiation Workshop, helping law students develop core negotiation strategies and skills.

She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where she majored in Psychology and minored in Spanish. With a foundation in both psychology and law, she brings a thoughtful and thorough approach to each case she handles.

Before law school, Ms. Benyamin worked closely with a leading neurosurgeon, an experience that provided early insight into the medical aspects of injury and recovery. She also served as an Executive Search and Assessment professional in the Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance Practice at one of the world’s top five executive search firms, where she worked on placements for general counsel and chief legal officers at Fortune 500 companies. This rare blend of medical and corporate experience sharpens her ability to navigate high-stakes cases with strategic depth and professionalism.

Ms. Benyamin is also the creator of Before You Take the LSAT, a podcast offering honest, human insight into the career path, from prelaw to practice. Her work on the podcast has been featured in international publications such as CNBC, Law.com, the Daily Mail, and VentureBeat.

She is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (WLALA). She is trilingual in English, Spanish, and Farsi — an asset that allows her to work with clients from a broad range of backgrounds and communities.
