An unidentified man was killed after getting struck by a passing vehicle after running across the northbound 5 Freeway in La Miranda on Wednesday morning, October 27.

The unidentified man was running across the freeway for unclear reasons and was struck by a 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe that was traveling at 65 to 70 mph.

The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed.

Information about the accident is limited at the moment. It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the collision.
