A 52-year-old man was killed after a deadly rear-end crash near Hemet on early Monday morning, September 20.

[09-20-2021] Riverside County, CA - Rear-End Crash in Hemet Results in One DeathThe fatal accident occurred on southbound Warren Road, just south of W Esplanade Avenue near Hemet, at approximately 6:42 a.m.

The 52-year-old man was reportedly heading northbound in his white Chevrolet Silverado on Warren Road. However, his vehicle veered over the double yellow line for unclear reasons and went into the opposite lane.

A southbound semi-truck attempted to swerve to avoid the collision. Unfortunately, the left front of the Silverado struck the left front of the semi. Both vehicles were driving at 55 mph at the time of the accident.

Unfortunately, the Chevrolet driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been disclosed. No arrests have been made at the moment. Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the crash.
