[02-05-2023] San Diego County, CA – 21-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Hit-And-Run Driver Near View Street

Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run driver who killed a 21-year-old pedestrian in San Diego on Sunday, February 5, 2023.

Reports confirmed that the deadly crash occurred at night on View Street near N. Main Avenue.

According to authorities, a blue sedan driving west on View Street struck a 21-year-old Fallbrook man crossing the street.

Officials believe the car, which may have been a Honda Accord, sustained front windshield damage in the collision before it fled the scene.

Paramedics immediately responded and confirmed the victim had succumbed to his injuries.

The suspect car’s full description was not immediately made public.
