A pedestrian crash claimed the life of an unidentified man in Westminster early Wednesday morning, February 8, 2023.
According to authorities, the fatal collision occurred around 5:15 a.m. on the westbound Garden Grove (22) Freeway at Beach Boulevard.
Officers were notified of the crash and discovered a person had been struck by a vehicle.
Paramedics were immediately called and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The identity of the fatally injured person, only identified as a male of unknown age, was not released immediately.
The circumstances of the death were being investigated.
