A two-alarm fire broke out in Sacramento warehouse buildings in Upper Land Park on Saturday, February 12, 2022.
According to the Sacramento Fire Department, the fire started around 1:40 p.m. on First Avenue near Fifth Street in Sacramento’s Upper Land Park.
For the majority of the night, firefighters will keep an eye on the scene.
The structures were once part of the California Shell Fish Co.’s operations but have been vacant for several years.
A firefighter suffered a back injury and was taken to the hospital during the incident.
