Authorities are searching for a suspect who assaulted and robbed a 72-year-old man identified as Thamrin L. at a Montclair ATM on Wednesday last month, February 16.
The robbery took place at an ATM in the 9700 block of Central Avenue.
The victim was using the ATM when the suspect attacked him and stole his wallet and cash, according to Montclair police.
According to police, the victim was taken to the hospital with a brain bleed but survived.
The police have released surveillance photos of the suspect. He is described as being between the ages of 25 and 35, with a red beard.
He sped away from the crime scene in a silver or tan Chevrolet Silverado, possibly a 2016 to 2019 model.
It’s possible that the truck has a handicap license.
There are no other details available.
The assault remains under investigation.
