[03-15-2022] Two People Injured Following a Bus Crash in Santa RosaAt least two people were hurt after a traffic collision involving a school bus in Santa Rosa on Tuesday afternoon, March 15, 2022.

The accident happened at approximately 3:39 p.m. in the area of Lavell and Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa.

A bus with nine Spring Valley Middle School students was heading eastbound on Mark West Springs Road when the driver turned left on Lavell Road and was struck by a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck.

The bus driver was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries. Meanwhile, the other driver complained of pain but was not taken to a hospital. No students were injured in the crash.

An active investigation of the case is currently underway.
