A 9-year-old was hospitalized after a roll-over crash on Highway 58, Kern County, early Monday morning.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision happened around 5:30 a.m. on Westbound Hwy 58, west of Highway 223.
The car slid down an embankment and rolled multiple times before coming to a complete stop.
The vehicle had three people inside. Two of them received minor injuries, while the 9-year-old was rushed to a nearby hospital.
The second lane of the highway is currently sealed off from the public temporarily.
