[04-01-2023] One Person Injured After Multi-Vehicle Collision in EurekaAt least one person sustained minor injuries following a multi-vehicle collision in Humboldt County on Saturday morning, April 01, 2023.

According to the local authorities, the three-vehicle collision occurred around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of 5th Street and R Street in Eureka.

The circumstances that led to the collision remain unknown, but three vehicles were said to be involved. Flatbed tow trucks were needed to remove two of the cars from the area.

The number of people involved and the extent of possible injuries remain unclear, but at least one person sustained minor injuries.

Myrtle Avenue and Fifth Street are congested with traffic due to the crash. By 9:31 a.m., the road was cleared, and the traffic went back to normal.
