[04-07-2022] Contra Costa County, CA – One Person Killed After a Head-On Crash in Brentwood

One unidentified person was killed after a head-on collision in Brentwood on Thursday morning, April 7, 2022.

One unidentified person was killed after a head-on collision in BrentwoodThe fatal collision transpired on Highway 4 near Balfour and Marsh Creek Roads at approximately 5:48 p.m.

An eastbound Toyota Corolla was traveling on Highway 4 when it veered into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming westbound International pump truck.

A female passenger inside the Corolla was trapped in the vehicle. The driver’s side door was completely crushed following the collision.

Unfortunately, the Toyota driver was killed in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the truck driver was uninjured.

Additional information about the crash is unavailable at the moment. An active investigation of the case is currently underway.
