[04-07-2022] Santa Clara County, CA – Mother and Daughter Killed in Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash in San Jose

Two people were killed in a hit-and-run accident in San Jose on Thursday evening, April 7, 2022.

According to investigators, a mother and her daughter were walking in the crosswalk at Ocala Avenue and Oakton Court when they were struck.

After the crash, the driver of a red newer model pickup truck continued driving, according to detectives. He was last seen on Capitol Expressway heading north.

According to relatives, one of the victims was in her 70s, and her daughter was in her 50s.

The police are seeking public assistance in locating the driver who killed a San Jose mother and her daughter before fleeing.

The crash remains under investigation.
