A two-vehicle crash resulted in multiple injuries in Desert Center, Riverside County, on a Friday morning, April 07, 2023.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 7:00 a.m. along westbound Interstate 10 close to the Corn Springs Exit.
An SUV occupied by a family of four crashed into a water attenuator which caused a nearby big rig to be struck as well.
The husband and wife occupants of the SUV sustained injuries, but their kids were safe. The big rig driver also received a minor injury, and all five of them were delivered to the hospital.
No further details about the collision were released.
